چکیده
Abstract In recent years, multiple-attribute decision-making (MADM) methods have gathered significant interest from researchers across various scientific fields. the case of mechanical part machining when faced with conflicting objectives, these become essential in selection necessary cutting parameters. The integration techniques multi-objective optimization procedures has proven effective leading to an efficient solution a multi-attribute problem. present study falls within this context. Its primary objective being determination optimal parameters that reduces tool vibration, minimizes surface roughness along withmaximizing material removal rate during turning Inconel 718 using coated carbide grade (GC1105). These objectives been achieved through combining principal component analysis (PCA) method measurement alternatives and ranking according compromise (MARCOS), MARCOS coupled Taguchi SN ratio. results obtained demonstrated both generated same combination achieve aforementioned represented by nose radius r = 0.8 mm, speed Vc 70 mm min −1 , feed f 0.08 rev depth cut ap 0.3 mm.

ABSTRACT The objective of this investigation is to obtain an optimal setting of process parameters in turning for maximizing the material removal rate of the manufactured component. The material removal rate has been investigated in this analysis while machining practically used components. As per Taguchi’s “Design of Experiments”, the number of experiments to be conducted in this analysis is c...

In this study, a multi objective optimization for end milling of Al 6061 alloy has been presented to provide better surface quality and higher Material Removal Rate (MRR). The input parameters considered for the analysis are spindle speed, depth of cut and feed. The experiments were planned as per Taguchis design of experiment, with L27 orthogonal array. The Grey Relational Analysis (GRA) has b...
متن کاملMulti-objective optimization in Turning of EN31 steel using Taguchi based grey relational analysis
Machining can be outlined as the process of taking away material from a work piece in the grade of chips. During a machining process, isolated of the energy is turned into heat energy through the detritions yielded between the tool and the work piece and the plastic deformation of the work material in the machining zone. Turning is charmed by several constituents, for example, the cutting speed...

The aim of this research is to investigate the optimization of cutting parameters (cutting speed, feed rate and depth of cut) for surface roughness and metal removal rate in turning of AISI 8620 steel using coated carbide insert. Experiments have been carried out based on Taguchi L9 standard orthogonal array design with three process parameters namely cutting speed, feed rate and depth of cut f...
